Watch the sun peek its head over the statuesque Table Mountain from the East facing balcony at sunrise. Or drink in the pink skies that the city promises throughout the balmy evenings of the Summer months, while delighting in the sparkling cityscape from the apartment’s elevated view as the sky gradually darkens.

The enchanting views will please those who appreciate architecture as the South facing balcony overlooks the historic Church Square, the gabled National Mutual Life Association of Australasia building, as well as the Old Mutual building, a notable Art Deco style construction straight out of Batman’s Gotham city. From the East facing balcony, you can view the walkway that leads to the cobble stone Greenmarket Square which originally sold fresh produce to passing ships.

Much attention has been paid to the interior of the double storey penthouse, decorated with a variety of textures including steel, stone and wood. The first storey of this apartment incorporates the convenience of a discreet washing machine (with a dryer located in Adderley Terraces’ communal laundry room) as well as a bathroom with spacious shower.

A slick black staircase leads guests to the second storey where the upstairs balcony is accessed from both bedrooms. The sliding doors found in both bedrooms once again honor the exquisite view and shut out unwanted noise at night while metal blinds keep the sun out during the day. A second bathroom with a large, accommodating shower can also be found on the second storey.

No matter what the weather outside, guests can maintain their ideal -temperature with air-conditioning throughout the lower level as well as the upper level bedrooms.

The apartment is situated on Adderley Street, historically a commercial hub which connected the city to the harbour. Today the Flower Sellers remain a favorite attraction with their legacy dating back well over a century.

As cities go, Cape Town is more akin to the laid back atmosphere of San Francisco than the hustle and bustle of New York or London, as the mountain and the availability of wide open spaces can be viewed from practically anywhere in the city bowl.

In recent years Cape Town has adopted the relaxed sidewalk café culture found in many European cities. A cornucopia of restaurants, most notably found in Kloof Street, the gourmet mile of the Mother City, await you within walking distance of the apartment.

Staying in accommodation in the Cape Town CBD means that all your business interactions can easily take place in the vicinity without the traffic experienced by commuters. The Waterfront is just a 5 minute drive away and an array of beautiful white sand beaches akin to those of the French and Italian Riviera can be found just over the mountain.

The Company Gardens, one of the green spaces found within the City Bowl can be found just 2 minutes away from the apartment. Bordering the Gardens is St Georges Cathedral, whose pleasant church bells can be heard ringing around 9:30 on a Sunday. Across the road is St Georges Mall, where a large Food Lover’s Market on St Georges Mall sells a variety of healthy food options, including it’s own sushi bar, bakery and deli. Every Thursday a quaint market is held in this walkway where food from a variety of cultures is sold.

At Adderley Terrace guests are allocated their own secure indoor parking bay. They will be issued with security controlled tags when they check in, allowing them to enter through the access controlled entrance lobby, which is manned by security guards throughout the day and night. The 24 hour security service also extends to the guards who roam the building and garage.
