      Description


      This is a 5th floor apartment located up a quiet and green side street off Green Point's main road. For a stay in Cape Town the location just cannot be beaten- on foot you can easily get to the 60,000 seater Green Point stadium (football, rugby, mega-music concerts and all manner of festivals); the V&A (Victoria and Alfred) Waterfront, Green Point village and De Waterkant.

      Inside Hero City's walls- 41sqm of studio apartment combining fresh and practical 21st Century furniture and equipment in a mostly original 1970s shell. Default-retro patterned tiles on the kitchen and bathroom walls and the ceiling fan in the living area get to feel all cool and in again against some loud colours, once-off "Emmenthaler" wall-lights, broad gunmetal venetian blinds and a big blocky luxury loafing sofa.

      There is a wall mounted flat screen LCD TV with full channel DSTV and high speed wireless internet throughout the apartment. Data is purchased online using your credit card. The dining and office space seats four for dinner and allows 2 to work comfortably on laptops.

      The balcony will just fit two of you and your coffee or red wine. Choose between the cruise liners in Cape Town Harbour or the upper reaches of Green Point and Signal Hill and Devils Peak for views.

      The double bed has a firm, hotel-quality mattress and 100% white cotton sheets, pillow cases and duvet covers. Housekeeping services are available upon request. We also provide a laundry and ironing service: your clothing is collected, washed, hand-ironed and returned. It doesn't cost much more than a laundromat but the wash quality and convenience more than makes up for this. A high power gas heater is available to get you cosy over the stormy Cape winter.

      The bathroom has a bath and shower combined. We provide complementary fynbos soap and shower gel to start you off refreshed- our body care products are biodynamic (thats beyond organic) and locally made.The kitchen is fully equipped with a modern mini-stove (2 hot plates and a grill/oven), microwave, full size fridge/freezer, kettle and toaster. A good supply of utensils and cookware make home cooking an attractive proposition when your palette and wallet need respite from all the restaurants.

      The apartment block is supremely secure: fully walled and fenced on the perimeter, electric fencing atop this. Access is via a double door security lobby or by car through remote controlled electric gates. This is all backed up by a 24 hour guard/concierge, CCTV cameras and electronic sensors. Your parking is a bay in a courtyard within the secured perimeter of the building. There are 2 fast lifts giving access to all floors (and nice stairs if you prefer to get around under your own steam. A strong digital safe provides easy and keyless lock up security for your valuables and is large enough to hold 2 average sized laptop computers.

      **Cancellation**
      Bookings cancelled more than 90 days prior to arrival date pay a 10% cancellation fee.
      Bookings cancelled between 90 and 61 days of arrival date pay a 25% cancellation fee.
      Bookings cancelled between 60 and 31 days of arrival date pay a 50% cancellation fee.
      Bookings cancelled less than 30 days from arrival date pay a 100% cancellation fee.

      Refunds and waiver of cancellation policies are at the discretion of management and their ability to relet the room. We advise all clients to take out cancellation insurance.

      All changes to bookings once confirmed, including moving from one property to another, or amending dates, are deemed to be cancellation of the first booking, and applicable fees must be charged.


      **Arrival and Departure**
      Check-in time is between 14h00 and 18h00 unless otherwise arranged. A late check in mnight incur a charge of R300 depending on the property. Check-out time is before 10h00 on the day of departure. We try to accommodate other arrival and departure times, so if you have any special requests please let us know.

      **Passports**
      South African immigration laws require all visitors' passports to have at least two blank pages and to be valid at least six months from your planned date of departure from South Africa. The law is rigorously enforced so please check your passports without delay!

      Your deposit is deemed to be acceptance of the said terms and conditions. No binding contract is in force until such time as a rental deposit has been made, and the rental manager has vetted and accepted the payment and guest information, and communicated such to the client.
